What is an Affidavit?

An affidavit is a written statement made by an individual that is sworn or solemnly declared under oath to be true.   An affidavit is usually made for matters in court proceedings.

What is a Statutory Declaration?

A statutory declaration is a signed and sworn statement attesting to the verity of documentation or information.  It is usually drafted for purposes other than court proceedings.
